Jason Wilson Awarded First-ever CSB School of Broadcasting Scholarship for Veterans
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 26, 2008 -- Jason Wilson has always wanted to be in broadcasting. To really break into the industry he knew he'd need proper training. With a wife and two small children to support, however, he knew he'd need help with tuition.
"That's precisely why the CSB School of Broadcasting (http://www.gocsb.com) Scholarship for Veterans was created," said David Banner, president of the School. "There are thousands of vets like Jason, who have a real talent and passion for this business, and we want to help them achieve their dreams."
A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to those veterans who are accepted into the CSB School of Broadcasting day or night class, at any of their 26 campuses across the United States.
When he learned that he was awarded the scholarship, Wilson was ecstatic. "This is great!" he exclaimed, "A scholarship like this will really help us out." Wilson, who is a winner of a Bronze Star for his service in the Air Force, will be starting in the November session.
"I'm really going to enjoy being a part of the broadcasting industry," said Wilson, "and I can't wait to start school and take full advantage of CSB's hands-on education in both TV and Radio."
